Milestone sessions are designed to preserve these fleeting stages in beautiful, timeless portraits that you’ll treasure long after your little one has grown. Whether your baby is celebrating their first smile, sitting independently, turning six months, or simply reaching a stage you never want to forget, these sessions are all about capturing who your baby is right now.

Your baby doesn’t have to be sitting, smiling, or reaching a specific milestone to have a session.

Some babies are early. Some are late. Some are happiest lying on their bellies. Others would rather wiggle, roll, crawl, or explore.

I follow your baby’s personality and pace rather than forcing them into a specific pose or trying to make the session fit a checklist.

WHEN SHOULD WE SCHEDULE A MILESTONE SESSION?

There isn’t one perfect age for milestone photography.

Some popular stages include:

3 MONTHS

Your baby’s personality is beginning to emerge, and those first smiles and expressions are absolutely priceless.

6 MONTHS

One of my favorite stages for milestone portraits. Babies are often sitting, smiling, reaching, and interacting with the world around them.

9 MONTHS

This stage is full of personality! Crawling, standing, clapping, laughing, and exploring make for incredibly expressive portraits.

12 MONTHS

Celebrate the incredible first year with portraits that capture just how much your baby has changed.

Not sure what age is right? Don’t worry. We can choose the session timing based on your baby’s individual development rather than a specific number of months.
